Kiesza was born on January 16, 1989, in Calgary, Alberta. She is a Canadian singer and multi-instrumentalist best known for her hit single “Hideaway“.
In 2017, Kiesza was involved in a serious car accident in Toronto that left her with severe injuries; she has since taken several years off to recover.
Kiesza was involved in a car accident when an Uber vehicle she was in was struck by a taxi in a side collision.
She spent six months in dark rooms as part of her recovery from what she described as a traumatic brain.
Kiesza went on a two-year hiatus following a car crash in 2016, but returned in June 2019 with the release of a new single, “Sweet Love“. Crave, her second studio album was released in 2020.
She released a new EP, Tommy, in March; the record includes four tracks. Her last single, One More Time, was a collaboration with the DJ and producer Nytrix, resulting in an awesome electro-pop song.
It is remarkable that Kiesza has become a one-hit-wonder, and we’re certain that this will not be the last we see of her.
